Namely, the Committee recognized the bill "On Amendments to several Laws of Ukraine regarding Enhancement of Activity of Self-Regulating Organizations in the Stock Market" as such that harmonizes with the EU legislation (Reg. No8234).
The bill (Reg. No. 8234) amends the Laws "On State Regulation of Stock Market" and "On Securities and Stock Market" to strengthen legal regulation of establishment and activity of self-regulating organizations stock market professionals.
The bill determines the tasks, rights and obligations of self-regulating organizations.
Thus, the tasks of a self-regulating organization stock market professional are as follows: development and establishment of the rules of self-regulating organizations, standards of professional behaviour and pursuit of a respective kind of professional activity, which are obligatory for the stock market professionals members of self-regulating organizations; control over the observance of these rules and standards; promotion of development of a particular professional activity and stock market on the whole; information and methodological support to the members of self-regulating organizations and other stock market participants; regulation of professional activity in the stock market in other forms determined by the legislation and foundation documents of a self-regulating organization.
The Committee also recognized the bill on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Natural Monopolies" (regarding the activity )' as such that harmonizes with the EU legislation (Reg. No8358).
The bill shall provide equal non-discrimination access of the market participants working within the joint markets to the networks of the natural monopolies (railway transport, electrotransmissions, water and heat supply etc). Moreover, the bill aimed at extension of rights for national commissions on natural monopolies regulation in the part of defining of criteria of possible overlapping of activity types.
